**YOGA IN THE WORKPLACE**

Introducing...Bella Yoga Corporate Class WELLNESS Program!

RESEARCH FINDINGS

In survey after survey, Americans identify stress as their number one health concern today.  More than 50% of adults inthe U. S report high stress on a daily basis.  Untreated, stress can seriously affect performance, health, and well-being.

Yoga or the relaxation response is another natural evolved survival mechanism.  It is associated with correct breathing and prevents or compensates for damage done by nervous reactions.  Research clearly demonstrates that the relaxation response brings about a marked decrease in the body's oxygen consumption, lowers blood pressure and causes a decrease in blood lactate and cortisol levels or stress hormones in the body.  It is in this state that one heals and rejuvenates.

Dear Yoga Prospective Student,

As a teacher of yoga for over 11 years, I can tell you that there have been many lifestyle changes in students.  The greatest change is the newfound ability to love oneself and be more patient and productive in one's professional life.  ~ Yoga truly works if you work it!

Bella Yoga currently works with several corporations in the St. Louis area placing qualified, insured yoga instructors with every type of client.  Class sizes run typically between 6-20 students and last for 45-60 minutes.  Teachers are also knowledgable in working with all kinds of students, from those who are the most inflexible to those who have very low attention spans.  Since the practice is about playing the edge and not looking like somebody, those who have the farthest to go, usually are those that benefit the most!

Our clients currently include St. Louis County Courthouse, Renaissance Financial, AG Edwards (Wachovia), Radiant Research and many more.   If you know someone that would like to start a yoga class at their workplace, please refer them to our website at www.bellayoga.com .

Thank you and have a NAMASTE! (the light in me honors the light in you!)

There is a stress epidemic in today's world.

Everyday about one million Americans fail to come to work due to stress.

The annual price tag of stress, in the form of healthcare costs and lost productivity amounts to 4 percent of the gross domestic product.

Stress is a major factor in depression and burnout.

One in three adults in North America has high blood pressure.

Through correct breathing, we lower stress, negative emotions, and change our heart rate from chaotic to smooth or cherent.

It has been also discovered that someone who has a coherent heart rhytm has a domnstrably positive effect on other people in close proximity to him or her.

So why not JUST GET STARTED in your FIRST YOGA CLASS today!!
